The Bestiary is a modern compendium on mythological creatures.
History

Extreme Ghostbusters
Based on P.K.E. readings and strange fibers taken, Egon Spengler used the "Bestiary" to identify an entity absorbing intellectual energy from its victims. An article on the Sphinx recounted how it systematically destroyed half of the population of Thebes, leaving pestilence, plague, and horror in its wake. [1]

IDW Comics
A copy of the "Bestiary" was kept in Ray's Occult Books on the bookshelf behind the cash register. Kylie had a copy of the Bestiary with her when she observed the parallel versions of Peter Venkman and Winston Zeddemore.
