Bob Cratchit [1] is part of the supporting cast of "A Christmas Carol," a popular novel by British author Charles Dickens and was featured in The Real Ghostbusters in the episode "Xmas Marks the Spot."


Bob Cratchit was the mistreated and severely underpaid clerk of Ebenezer Scrooge. Cratchit often worked long hours in poor surroundings only to be paid 16 Shilling a week. He lived with is wife, three sons, and three daughters in Camden Town. On Christmas Eve 1837, he and his youngest son, Tiny Tim, picked up dinner at the butcher's shop. It was a meager duck but Tiny Tim's optimism kept Cratchit from remaining sullen. He was unaware his boss was about to be visited by Jacob Marley, the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, the Ghost of Christmas Future, and... the Ghostbusters.
