Dennis Calero is American comic book artist and illustrator, known for developing "X-Men Noir" for Marvel Comics.
About[]
Dennis Calero studied at New World School of the Arts. Over the years, Dennis Calero had done work on licensed titles such as " Sliders" and "Magic: The Gathering" for Acclaim Comics, "Cisco Kid" and "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" for Moonstone Books, "Cowboys & Aliens" for Platinum Comics, IDW Publishing's "Masters of Horror: Dreams in the Witch House", Marvel Comics' "X-Factor" and adapted "The Martian Chronicles" by Ray Bradbury as a graphic novel for Hill & Wang. Calero was nominated for a Harvey Award, Best New Series for his work on "X-Factor" in 2006 and has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators West in 2009 for his work on "X-Men Noir"
Other Works[]
In addition to comics and graphic novels, Calero also worked in film and television. His first novel was being developed into a film by Lisa Bruce. Calero co-wrote a pilot for Universal Cable Productions and the SyFy channel called "Clandestine." He also worked on entertainment projects for CBS Films, Weed Road Pictures, and a webcomic "The Little Green God of Agony" for Stephen King.
