The Eiffel Tower is a famous landmark in Paris and is the most visited paid monument in the world.
History[]
Egon Spengler and Ray Stantz were once convinced the Eiffel Tower was engineered to be some kind of primitive Containment Unit. Ray believed it was just about the perfect design for a psychokinetic lightning rod. [1] [2] [3]
Trivia[]
- On the regular cover of Ghostbusters International #4, the Eiffel Tower makes an appearance but don't appear in the issue itself.
- On page 7 of Ghostbusters International #5, Peter and Winston's recollection of Egon and Ray's theory about the Eiffel Tower being a primitive French Containment Unit is a nod to the animated version of the tower being as such in The Real Ghostbusters episode "The Ghostbusters in Paris"
- On page 20 of Ghostbusters International #5, the Eiffel Tower is in the background.
