Erin's Plant in a Box was a box that stored items for a recently fired Erin Gilbert took from her former office at Columbia University.
History[]
After being given the pink slip by Dean Harold Filmore, Erin gathered her things into a box and did the walk of shame. She claimed she wasn't fired even though she had the whole "Plant in a box".[1] She made up a story that she was just taking the plant out for some air and happened to have it in a box with all her personal items. During the whole the thing, Erin was denying it was the walk of shame when she was in fact doing just that.
