Aunt Lois' House [1] is a charming old Victorian era residence, common in the 1890s, [2] that's been in the Stantz family for a century. [3]

History[]

Decades after the Stantz family arrived in New York, they bought a house in the city. Ray's Aunt Lois was raised there and eventually became its owner by the 1980s. She was unaware the house was also occupied with Domoviye, benevolent location spirits who kept things right in the parlor. The spiritualist Dr. Bassingame performed a sham seance that insulted the ghosts and made them incredibly violent. The Ghostbusters were eventually allowed to go in and capture them. Bassingame was convinced to pay for all damages.
