Barry Sherman[1] is a radio shock jock for WKYR 519.6 who begins his show with a rhyme and comments on anything and everything from workplace violence to the New York Knicks.

History[]

At some point, Barry Sherman was possessed by Morpheus. The demon planned to use Barry's voice as a conduit into the dreams of millions of New Yorkers in order to gather enough power to cross over into the physical plane. Kylie Griffin and Garrett Miller attempted to take Barry's show off the air, but it was too late. Morpheus left Barry's body and crossed over. The Ghostbusters easily trapped Morpheus and Barry regained consciousness, unaware of what had happened.

Trivia[]

  • Barry was a sleepwalker.[2]
  • In the script's cast list, Barry Sherman was described as "think Danny DeVito in Get Shorty." Casting suggestions were Mark Taylor, Will Shriner, and Richard Jeni.[3]
  • In the first draft, Sherman's program was on WEDG "The Edge".[4]
