Specifics: Ghostbusters World |
Bus Ghost (also known as Bus Driver Ghost) is a disgusting blob of a ghost (similar to Slimer) who haunted the George Washington Bridge Bus Station in New York.
History[]
The Ghostbusters chased after the ghost through the bus station's parking garage (where he drove a bus off the bridge), cafeteria, waiting room, restroom, and then on through gate 13 to another parking garage area. Peter Venkman then went on the bus the ghost was on and blasted him while the other three waited outside the bus to make sure the ghost didn't escape. After the ghost was captured, Peter Venkman got all the credit.
Description[]
The Bus Ghost was an olive green ghost with a big nose, white eyes with yellow pupils, sharp teeth, elf-like ears, a hefty body, stubby arms and legs, five-clawed hands, five-toed feet with a claw an the big toes, and wears a bus driver's hat.
Personality[]
Like Slimer, the ghost was shown to be gluttonous in behavior. It entered the George Washington Bridge Bus Station cafeteria and ate all the sweets it had in stock.
Trivia[]
- Interestingly, the ghost's image was used on the Second Cartridge of the Ghost Zapper Toy, which was a mail order item by Kenner.
- On page four of Ghostbusters Issue #6, the ghost makes a non-canon cameo as a diner patron.
