The Dock Assistant is a dock worker who assists the Dock Supervisor at Pier 34.

On New Year's Eve 1989, the Dock Supervisor and assistant watched as the Titanic docked at Pier 34. While the supervisor remarked, "Well, better late than never," the assistant stared at him and then turned back to the ghosts and ship. Likewise, when the Statue of Liberty surfaced, the assistant stared in shock.
