Dr. Perkins[2] is a doctor employed by a New York hospital.
History[]
After the Ghostbusters and Slimer gave some young patients a demonstration, Dr. Perkins informed them the hospital needed $50,000 by the end of the week or staff would be reduced and some of the children sent home, even if they needed medical care.[3] Marty Tillis offered to pay the Ghostbusters $50,000 in exchange for using the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man for a commercial. He invited Perkins and the children to the set of the commercial. After Stay Puft, Slimer, and the Ghostbusters trapped the Phantom, Marty Tillis wrote out the $50,000 check and handed it to Perkins.
Trivia[]
- On page 11 of Ghostbusters Issue #13, Dr. Perkins has a non-canon reference on a fundraiser banner outside the Metropolitan Opera House.
