The Ectoplasmic Disintegrator[1] is a failed prototype invented by Egon Spengler.
History[]
Just before the release of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Egon just about completed work on a new invention called the Ectoplasmic Disintegrator. Based on the nomenclature, the device appeared to have a similar function to the Ghost Bomb. However, as Egon adjusted the ion fire rate,[2] the device overloaded and blew up.
