Egon's Quonset Hut[1] is a very weird high tech shelter that resembles a portable geodesic dome outfitted like a mini-recreation vehicle. It is complete with windows, doors, small bubbling jacuzzi, wet bar, and entertainment center.[2][3]
History[]
In his spare time, Egon Spengler put together a Quonset hut that could be concealed in a suit case. It could be activated by a remote. During a week long vacation in the New England countryside, Egon employed the hut. Bigfoot found it the most appealing among everyone's tents and decided to sleep in it. However, a lightning bolt struck the tent and it collapsed onto Bigfoot. After the guys pulled him out, the tent reverted into its suit case. After Bigfoot was returned home, Peter Venkman accidentally set it off once he packed it in Ecto-1.

- On page two of Ghostbusters Volume 1 Issue #11, the Quonset Hut, unactivated, makes a non-canon cameo on one of the blankets.
- On page 17 of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters Volume 2 Issue #1, in panel 3, Egon's Quonset Hut makes a non-canon cameo on the left.
