Egon's Weather Balloon[1] is a side project Egon was slated to present to the Weather Board.[2]
History[]
While ignoring his chores, Egon Spengler finished a Weather Balloon the night before a demonstration in the morning to the Weather Board. It has the capability to enter the upper atmosphere where cloud formations occur and electronically alter conditions in order to increase or decrease weather phenomenon such as rain or snow. Despite still being partially stuck in the form of a Werechicken, Egon left the Firehouse 45 minutes before the demonstration.[3][4][5] The Weather Balloon ended being the solution to the Ghostbusters' giant Werechicken problem. Upon turning the lever on the balloon's remote to the extreme left, the balloon generated an intense snow storm and froze the Werechicken in its tracks.[6]
