Eldon Bromo anchored 20/40/60 from ABS Studios in New York. On one report he presented an examination into hearing damage caused by loud clothes, an in-depth look at fabulously boring rich people, the Ghostbusters, and the weekly commentary by Roon Ancient. As the Ghostbusters report progressed, the Possessor Demon rampaged through the studio and destroyed Bromo's desk. It was revealed he was only wearing his boxers and no pants. After he signed for the night, Bromo fainted.

After kidnapping Slimer, Saul Pendleton appeared on an ABS News report with Eldon Bromo. Saul tried to start a scandal about the Ghostbusters harboring a ghost in order to erode public trust in them.

- Eldon Bromo was based on Walter Cronkite and voiced accordingly by Maurice LaMarche.[3]
- On page 17 of Ghostbusters Volume 2 Issue #14, Eldon Bromo makes a non-canon cameo as the news anchor.
