Plot[]

The next morning, after the Slime in Bathtub Attack, Peter Venkman waited outside the Manhattan Museum of Art. Ecto-1a drove up and parked up front. Peter asked Ray Stantz if he found anything at Dana's apartment. Winston Zeddemore helped Ray put on his Proton Pack while Ray got out a piece of paper. Ray revealed there was only some Psychomagnotheric Slime residue around the bathtub. He shared the info gathered on Vigo character from Leon Zundinger's "Magicians, Martyrs And Madmen". Egon Spengler stated Vido the Carpathian was born in 1505 and died in 1610. Peter mentally calculated that was 105 years old and remarked he hung in there. Egon helped Winston put on his pack. Ray revealed his cause of death was not old age and he was poisoned, stabbed, shot, hung, stretched, disemboweled, drawn and quartered. Winston presumed he was not too popular at the end. Peter placed a camera strap around his neck. Egon clarified he was not exactly a man of the people then listed off his other titles: Vigo the Cruel, Vigo the Torturer, Vigo the Despised and Vigo the Unholy. Peter joked another was Vigo the Butch. Ray explained there was a prophecy, just before his head died. Vigo's last words were: "Death is but a door, time is but a window. I'll be back!"

The Ghostbusters stepped into the Restoration room. The restorers looked up at them. Egon held the Giga Meter. Ray held a Globuscope. Winston held a KUD Meter. Peter instructed everyone to suck in the guts. They inhaled. Janosz immediately told them to leave. Ray asked Peter who that was. Peter sicced Ray on him. Ray engaged Janosz politely, introducing himself, complimenting the work space, and stating they were doing a routine spook check. Peter handed Janosz his coat. Janosz informed Peter that Dana was not present. Peter knew that. Janosz asked why he came. Peter told him they got a report there was a major creep in the area, so they checked their list and he was right on the top. He asked Janosz where in the hell he was from anyway. Janosz replied he came from the Upper West Side. Egon informed Peter the whole room was extremely hot. Winston noticed the Vigo painting and thought he was one ugly dude. Peter snapped photographs like a fashion photographer. Janosz pleaded with Peter to stop and was ignored. Janosz stood in front of the painting and stated no photographs were allowed but slides were available in the gift shop. Winston took him aside. Janosz shrieked.

Peter thanked Winston and continued with taking photographs. He asked Vigo to give him angry like he had a bad day and was cranky. Peter was pleased and became more and more intense. He asked for sexy and mused the girls and the guys liked him. He asked about the animals. Ray stood on the step ladder and took readings. He looked at Vigo's eyes and became transfixed. The eyes turned red, then blue again. Ray stared in a daze. His arm became limp. Peter went overboard and yelled at Vigo to destroy him. Egon interrupted him and wanted to talk. Peter turned to Vigo and told him he worked with better, but not many, and thanked him. Peter took his coat from a distraught Janosz. Winston called out to Ray but got no response. He patted Ray. Ray snapped out of it. Winston asked him if he was finished. Ray confirmed he was. Winston asked him if he was all right. Ray was confused by the question and walked away with Winston. Ray assured him he was fine.

The camera point of view panned up the exterior of Peter's apartment. Peter returned home to his apartment with a suitcase. He called out to Dana. He was horrified upon realized she cleaned up the apartment. Dana was fresh out of the shower and wrapped in a white towel. They greeted each other. Dana alerted him that Oscar was asleep then asked about her apartment. Several old newspapers from 1984 about the Ghostbusters were framed on the wall of Peter's office area. Peter, with a straight face, told her the guys spent the whole night there, went through all her things and personal stuff, tried on some of her clothes, made some long-distance phone calls, and cleaned out the fridge. Dana cut him off and asked if they found anything. Peter conceded they only found a little bit of the pink slime. Dana asked what she was supposed to do now. Peter told her get dressed and get crazy with him on the streets of Manhattan. Dana was not so sure. Peter assured her it was exactly what she needed and he already had a babysitter. Dana was not so sure about leaving Oscar in a strange place with a strange person. Peter pointed out the babysitter was Janine. Dana inquired if Janine had experience babysitting.

Peter handed her a bouquet of flowers and presented a suitcase. He revealed he brought some things from her apartment, a couple of provocative ensembles. Dana agreed they would go out to get dinner but he was not allowed to use any of those old cheap moves on her. Peter promised he would not, he had all new cheap moves. They entered the bedroom to find Oscar awake. Dana baby talked to him. Peter informed Oscar he was going to have the whole place to himself that night and revealed he had some Laura Antonelli tapes around. He asked Dana if she saw some shirts in the "floor-bed" area. Dana revealed she placed them in the hamper. Peter was surprised he had a hamper. He took some of the clothes out of the hamper and asked her to tell him the next time she was going to do that. Dana pointed out they were dirty. Peter scoffed and stated he had more than two grades of laundry. He claimed there were many subtle levels. He took one shirt and claimed it could be hung outside the window for twenty minutes and it would be perfectly fine. Peter left the bedroom. Dana commented to Oscar he was an interesting role model. She kissed Oscar.

Outside the Firehouse, three men crossed the street. At the reception desk, Janine was ending a phone call. Several old newspapers and magazines from 1984 were framed on the wall of Peter's office along with some new ones. Janine told the caller that the Ghostbusters could not get to their case until after the New Year. Janine listened to the caller's response and covered up her computer. She suggested not going in there and hung up then yelled out to Louis that she was closing up.

Janine and Louis walked out of the Firehouse. Louis wondered if he should take the subway, the surface roads, or something else. He noted it was kind of busy out. She stated she was walking and bidded him good night. Louis stopped her and awkwardly asked her out to dinner. Janine replied she would love that but had to go babysit for Peter. Louis was bummed. Janine invited him to babysit with her. He accepted. She told him to meet her at Peter's apartment at 8 pm. Janine walked off. Louis stood in the middle of the crosswalk talking to himself. He told himself he could get Peter's address from the W2 form. A driver called him a dummy and told him to move. Cars honked at him. He stepped out of the way and directed the cars.
