The Dock Supervisor called the police on December 30th to report the ghost ship of the RMS Titanic and the ghosts of its passengers arrived at Pier 34.

Ghostbusters II[]
The Dock Supervisor and one of his co-workers watched in shock as the ghosts disembarked from the Titanic. He called the police and notified them about the Titanic. Afterwards, the supervisor remarked, "Well, better late than never." Several hours later, they were once again shocked to see another curiosity, the Statue of Liberty walking across New York Harbor into the city.

- In the August 5, 1988 draft, the "Better late than never" line was Peter's.[1]

- On page 85, the Mayor mentions the Titanic. Peter quips, "Better late than never."
