Ghostworld Kidnappers are a group of ghosts tasked with capturing the Ghostbusters and sending them to the Ghostworld to stand trial.
History[]
The ghosts simultaneously sent invitations to each of the four Ghostbusters that appealed to their interests and egos. Peter Venkman was invited to the Ladies Charity Function to be auctioned off to the highest bidder as a date, Ray Stantz was asked to be a guest speaker at a comic book convention, Winston Zeddemore was selected to film a TV commercial for Fizz Up, and Egon Spengler was informed he won the Annual Scientific Achievement Award. Split up and without their equipment, each other Ghostbusters were easily ambushed by the ghosts and teleported to the Ghostworld.
