- In Chapter 13: Mood Slime, "(Your Love Has Lifted Me) Higher and Higher" is played.
- In Chapter 14: A Tub Full of Slime, "Flesh 'N Blood" plays in the lab scene with Ray and Egon Spengler.
- In Chapter 19: Scaring the Straights, when Peter Venkman admits to Dana Barrett he was going to tell her about the Psychomagnotheric Slime between the dessert and the cheese course, "On Our Own" plays.
- In Chapter 21: Tenth Level of Hell:
  - "Flip City" plays during the montage.
  - "On Our Own" plays on the drive to the Manhattan Museum of Art.
- In Chapter 23: The Statue of Liberty, "(Your Love Has Lifted Me) Higher and Higher" is played to help animate the Statue of Liberty.
- In Chapter 24: A Harbor Chick, "(Your Love Has Lifted Me) Higher and Higher" continues to play.
- In Chapter 28: World is Safe Again:
  - "On Our Own" plays when the end credits start.
  - "Spirit" plays when the rest of the end credits scroll after the fade to black.
  - "We're Back" plays at the "Music Scoring Mixer" credit around the 1:43:35 mark.
  - "Ghostbusters (rap version)" plays at around the 1:45:26 mark towards the end of the end credits.
