Heronymus[2] (also known as Heironymus Van Aachen) was an English alchemist from the Middle Ages.[3][4]

The Real Ghostbusters[]
In 1690, Heronymus summoned the demon brothers Arzun and Thole from the Netherworld to do his bidding, but instead, they brought him back with them.[5][6][7] Centuries later, when Peter, Ray, and Winston went to rescue Egon, Heronymus told them that Thole captured him and took him to his castle. Heronymus asked to be taken back to the living world with them in return for helping them.
As they escaped, Heronymus volunteered to stay behind because he feared that he wouldn't be ready for the major changes that occurred in the real world since his departure - namely flying machines, men on the Moon, and computer dating services. Winston gave him his Proton Pack so that he could fend for himself. Soon enough, Heronymus tamed a Tolaysian Terror Dog.
IDW Comics[]
Heironymus Van Aachen left descriptions of Senta in his journals. They were later used by John Horace Tobin to create an illustration of the entity.[8][9]
