The Hound of the Baskervilles (also known as Hound)[2] is a legendary and fearsome dog from one of the four crime novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle featuring the detective Sherlock Holmes.

History[]

The Hound traveled with Professor Moriarty when he went to New York to find and absorb enough evil energy to become real. At the Museum of Crime, it imprisoned John H. Watson in its rib cage. At the Firehouse, the Ghostbusters slipped a trap under Ecto-1 and trapped the Hound after Watson was freed by Slimer. Moriarty was soon defeated when he was sucked into the Containment Unit along with Sherlock Holmes and Watson.

Classification[]

Ray Stantz refers to Moriarty and the Hound as Vaporous Full Torso Apparitions.[3]

Powers[]

The Hound has the power of flight, invisibility, creates Cold Spots, can track evil energy, difficult to scan with the P.K.E. Meter, and is immune to Proton Streams.[4][5][6]
