The Interdimensional Communicator is an ad hoc device put together by Winston Zeddemore to communicate with other dimensions in order to find the other Ghostbusters.
History[]
After Egon Spengler, Ray Stantz, and Peter Venkman were transported to another dimension, conventional communication was rendered useless. Utilizing some communication equipment, Winston quickly put together a device to find the guys. Once Slimer made some final connections with Ecto-1, they began their search. However, it quickly became a fruitless search. By luck, when Slimer's tail crossed into the machine, they picked up Peter and Egon. The Ghostbusters collaborated and concluded on a way to escape Boo York.

- On page 18 of Ghostbusters Volume 2 Issue #1, the Interdimensional Communicator makes a non-canon cameo on the filing cabinet to the right of Peter's office.
