The Inverted Containment Unit is an invention of Professor Harold Teplitz that operates counter to the Ghostbusters' Containment Unit.
History[]
After analyzing schematics of the Ghostbusters' equipment, Professor Teplitz determined the inversion of several processes would allow him and his allies to construct their own equipment to work on the living. They constructed their containment unit on the Shandor Property using a simple low voltage grid. One by one, the Ghost Busted Army stored the souls of the Ghostbusters into the unit and kept their comatose bodies hooked up nearby. Once Winston Zeddemore discovered it, he cut the power. Instead of a giant explosion, the grid released the souls of the other Ghostbusters.
