The Inverted Trap is an invention of Professor Harold Teplitz that operates counter to the Ghostbusters' Trap.
History[]
After analyzing schematics of the Ghostbusters' equipment, Professor Teplitz determined the inversion of several processes would allow him and his allies to construct their own equipment to work on the living. The trap he invented strips a human's living soul from their body and leaves it behind in a comatose state. The trap then holds the soul in stasis indefinitely.
