Irma[2] was a little girl who helped the Ghostbusters defeat Boogaloo in "The Halloween Door," the third Halloween adventure of The Real Ghostbusters animated series. She is also the only other person besides the Ghostbusters and Dr. Crowley who remembers what happened before time was reversed back to 8 pm.
History[]
Irma lives with her family next door to Dr. Crowley in the Times Square district. During the Boogaloo incident, she strapped on a vacuum cleaner like a Proton Pack and went next door to Dr. Crowley's Mansion to offer her help. Egon Spengler realized she was the key to restoring the Halloween Deal and saving the world. Unafraid of Boogaloo, Egon declared the deal was back on and all ghosts that came through were pulled back to the Netherworld. Once time was set back to 8 pm, Irma departed from the Ghostbusters to meet up with her father.
Personality[]
She is very brave for her age as she insisted on helping the Ghostbusters and wasn't afraid of Boogaloo despite his disturbing and terrifying appearance.
Trivia[]
- In the call sheet for "The Halloween Door", Irma is listed as "Girl."[3]
- On page 12 of Ghostbusters Issue #8, Irma makes a non-canon cameo standing next to Egon.
