Lorne's Greenhouse and Garden Center[1] is a lawn store located in the fringes of New York City.[2]
History[]
The Ghostbusters were once called to Lorne's Greenhouse to deal with a Greenhouse ghost. Once Mr. Lorne headed outside, they went to work. Winston Zeddemore was sidelined after the ghost dumped in a pile of compost. Egon Spengler and Peter Venkman were left to capture the ghost. Unbeknownst to them, the ghost possessed one of the center's prized geraniums during trapping. Coincidentally, Mr. Lorne awarded Egon with the possessed geranium.
Trivia[]
- "Lorne's Greenhouse" is a reference to actor and "Bonanza" star, Lorne Greene.[3]
- On cover A of Ghostbusters Volume 2 Issue #6, Lorne's makes a non-canon cameo on a brochure.
