Lothgar's Cuckoo Clock is a giant antique cuckoo clock from Europe used by Lothgar to seek out a replacement. [1] When both hands point straight up at noon and midnight, a pan-dimensional portal opens temporarily. [2] [3] [4]

History[]

In the late 19th century, Lothgar tried to lure a replacement into his clock's pan dimensional portal. Villagers wised up to this and sealed up the clock. [5] [6] Over 100 years later, the clock came into the ownership of the Toy Tower in Manhattan. A worker named Sam repaired the jammed gears and got the clock in working order. Lothgar soon dispatched his minions to find a replacement. They selected Lawrence Tully and brought him through the clock's portal. The Ghostbusters, Slimer, and Louis Tully figured out the clock's ability and artificially manipulated the hands to generate a portal ahead of schedule. Once everyone exited the clock, the Ghostbusters sealed up the portal by destroying the clock with their Particle Throwers.
