Lupusville[1] is a privately owned town founded by Werewolves but later invaded by Vampires.

History[]

Somewhere pretty far off the beaten track, Werewolves chose an isolated location to start up a town.[2] Billed as a private real estate development,[3] Lupusville kept to itself and the outside world never intruded. Nearby, a dam was constructed. However, a rebel Vampire named Gregor led his followers and servants in an invasion of the town. They imprisoned the townsfolk in a basement prison and lived in Lupusville. However, the Vampire group that Gregor's clan split off from, led by one named Orwell, felt the faction risked exposing their existence to the world. They tried to drive Gregor's faction from the town at midnight every night.

Gregor hired the Ghostbusters to get rid of his rivals. However, Ray and Peter were soon taken prisoner by Orwell's group while Egon and Winston learned the truth about Gregor. In the ensuing fight between the vampire groups, Egon found and freed the imprisoned townsfolk, with their leader Clintock leading the charge into taking back their town as they transformed into their true forms as Werewolves, and soon enough, a chaotic battle ensued between both Vampire groups and the Werewolves. The Ghostbusters promptly left the town as the Vampires and Werewolves bit each other, causing them to turn into hybrids. On their way out, the Ghostbusters stopped at the only bridge leading in or out of the town. As Ray recalled, Vampires couldn't cross over running water, [4] so the Ghostbusters destroyed the dam, and a body of water quickly formed around Lupusville, trapping the Vampire-Werewolf hybrids.
