The Lewiston Girls Academy [1] is an all-girls private boarding school located two miles away from Lewiston. [2]
History[]
While new land was being excavated for construction of a new gymnasium, old stone ruins were discovered. [3] A Containment Rock Crystal was broken in half and Kestrel was released. A few days later, the Ghostbusters traced Kestrel to the academy. They discovered abnormally high readings. [4] [5] However, the headmistress, Margaret Prandish was uncooperative at first and cited the girls needed to study for final exams in peace. [6] The Ghostbusters were eventually allowed to investigate covertly. While in disguise, they tailed Kestrel to the basement but lost her as she went to a cavern hideaway. When Egon Spengler was possessed, Kestrel fled the academy to exact her revenge on Lewiston once and for all.
Trivia[]
- On page 11 of Ghostbusters Volume 2 Issue #2, the Academy is referenced on the jogger's sweatshirt.
