Marty Tillis[2] is the president of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Company.[3]
History[]
Marty Tillis once asked the Ghostbusters to free their Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from the Containment Unit so that he could use him in a commercial.[4] The Ghostbusters at first refused, but relented after Tillis promised to pay them $50,000, since the Ghostbusters needed to donate that much money to the hospital. To sweeten the deal a bit more, Tillis promised the Ghostbusters to invite the children at the hospital to watch the filming of the commercial.[5]
When the Ghostbusters freed Stay Puft from the containment grid, they inadvertently also freed the Phantom. Eventually, the Ghostbusters made it to their destination with Mr. Stay Puft and also had the chance to recapture the Phantom. Marty Tillis then had a camera man film the Ghostbusters busting the Phantom and then get a shot of the Ecto-1 in front of the Stay Puft Man. He then wrote a check for $50,000 and gave it to the hospital.
Personality[]
Marty Tillis is a very easy-going man. He often smiles and is very generous. Nothing at all like your typical businessman. He is also accompanied by two smiling men in suits that serve him.
