Egon invents a robot named Ecto-X, that is programmed to help the Ghostbusters bust ghosts. Unfortunately, Ecto-X starts to overshadow the Ghostbusters due to being more efficient. Eventually, Ecto-X is possessed by a Computergeist and the demon uses Ecto-X to trap the Ghostbusters and then goes to the Firehouse to free his brothers and sisters from the Containment Unit. Fortunately, Slimer rescues the Ghostbusters and they trap the ghost. Ecto-X is then remodeled into Ecto-Maid, who is programmed to give the Ghostbusters snacks.

- This comic's front cover was later reused by NOW Comics on Vol. 1 #21.
- The story "Ecto-X" was also reprinted in the same comic.
- The cover bares a strong resemblance to the poster of the 1987 film, RoboCop. (Using the same pose when getting out of the car.)
