The Modified Hard Hats are regular hard hats outfitted with spotlights.
History[]
In 1985, Egon Spengler designed the hard hats for spectral spelunking during an outbreak of demonic activity in the Carlsbad Caverns.[1] The Ghostbusters used them years later for the Spittoon case, when they explored a gold mine in search of the Spectral Well. In 1997, Egon retrieved the four hard hats and gave them to the Extreme Ghostbusters before they set out to search through tunnels under New York City for Energy and Lightning Demons.
