Mr. and Mrs. Carter are the parents of Megan and Kenny Carter, the two children that were terrorized by the Boogieman.
History[]
Like most parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carter didn't believe their children's claim that the Boogieman was in their closet. So Megan and Kenny sneaked out of their home after bedtime and attempted to hire the Ghostbusters. After the Ghostbusters' first encounter with the entity, the noise alerted Mr. and Mrs. Carter to their presence. After hearing their reason for being in their house, they kindly asked the Ghostbusters to leave. However, when they saw the Ghostbusters seal the Boogieman's portal with the Ghost Bomb, they changed their minds. They apologized and thanked them for their help.
