El is the owner of operator of El's Diner in New England.
History[]
During a stormy night, El met the Ghostbusters. When Ray Stantz ran in a hurry, El noticed Slimer and attempted to neutralize him with a frying pan. Once they got El's attention, he told the guys about the local legend of Simon Quegg. However, when Ray mentioned he also saw the Dark Rider, El shoved the Ghostbusters out and closed the diner. El feared supernatural retribution as the select few who ever saw the Dark Rider were soon plagued by disaster.
