The Museum of Ironworks (also known as Hanover Ironworks Museum and Ironworks Museum) [1] [2] is a local museum in Hanover dedicated to the history of the town's forge and anything connected to it.
History[]
In spring of 1997, Roland Jackson visited the museum to get the Sword of Stephen Decatur authenticated. He met Old Ben and learned more about the sword and the Jersey Devil. Ben showed him the legendary forge that gave birth to the creature and revealed he wanted to get it working again for the town bicentennial celebration. The Jersey Devil soon arrived in search of sword to reincorporate it into its body. Ben and Roland chased it off using Hanover iron, its only weakness. The Ghostbusters later tried to regroup at the museum but were arrested by the Sheriff White. They escaped and returned where Ben was waiting with his cannon. A long shot plan was formulated by Roland. Ben, Roland, and Kylie Griffin got the forge started up and Eduardo Rivera blasted the Jersey Devil into it. The smelting process returned the devil to its original form and the town's ruins were restored.
