The Lunar Avenger and the Crimson Crimebuster come to the Ghostbusters when their old archenemy Fu Fang has returned. The boys in gray also have to deal with Caesar Caldoni and his gang, who felt that it was safe to attack after the Ghostbusters trapped Webby McBain's gang three issues ago.

The Dark Dwarf is the only member of the Crime Patrol not seen in the present day, possibly because he is deceased. However, his appearance suggests he may be an alien, so he may have returned to his home planet after the Crime Patrol disbanded.
