Not to be confused with Penn Station from IDW Comics

Penn Station [1] is a major station and terminal rail, subway, and buses.

History[]

The Real Ghostbusters[]

Penn Station was built at the start of the 20th century but torn down in 1963 to make room for Madison Square Garden and a smaller station.[2] The Player used his powers to return Penn Station to its original state and ultimately draw the Ghostbusters and Slimer in to investigate.

They examined a vintage steam locomotive and entered it to find the Player. However, the train took off for the Ghost World. Once the Ghostbusters and Slimer defeated the Player, Penn Station vanished and Madison Square Garden returned.

Extreme Ghostbusters[]

In November 1997, Janine Melnitz suspected Lillith had ulterior motives and followed her to Penn Station. It turned out Lillith was an ecto entity using a fall out shelter under Penn Station to construct a Bio Containment Vortex to hold all of humanity inside of. Lillith lured the Ghostbusters to the shelter by giving them a power company program capable of tracking electric surges. Once they arrived, she placed them in stasis and was about to deposit them into the vortex but Janine and Slimer saved the day.
