The Salamander Shifters are at least three large salamander-like entities that have the ability to shapeshift.
History[]
On undisclosed busts, the shifters were captured by the Ghostbusters and dumped into the Containment Unit. While Slimer visited the unit universe, he encountered the shifters. He eased his nerves by petting a nearby cat. However, it transformed into another one of the Salamander Shifters and snapped at Slimer.
