Sheriff White[1][2] is the sheriff of the small town of Hanover.
History[]
Sheriff White pulled over Roland's Mustang and realized the Jersey Devil was back. Without citing Roland for speeding, White hurried back to Hanover to warn the townspeople. When the devil appeared over the town, he ordered everyone to stay indoors. He fired in vain at the devil. The Jersey Devil exhaled on and atomized the sheriff's rifle. Soon enough, he ordered the Ghostbusters to leave or he would arrest them. When they didn't and the devil got even stronger, Sheriff White decided to appease the devil by offering the Ghostbusters to it like how books on the devil described. He handcuffed them to a gazebo. The Ghostbusters managed to escape and fled to the Museum of Ironworks. Garrett Miller fired a cannonball onto the hood of the sheriff's car during the final battle against the Jersey Devil.

- Sheriff White is nicknamed by Garrett as the Sheriff of Nottingham after the antagonist of Robin Hood.[3]
