The Stantz Dairy Farm [1] is a dairy farm owned and operated by Samantha Stantz, a cousin of Ray Stantz. [2] Its motto is "The Best Cheddar This Side of Oshkosh."

History[]

For 10 generations, The Petersons owned a farm. They worked hard to make it a beautiful and peaceful place. [3] When the last member of the family died, the farm went to the county. The county had the gravestones removed but not the bodies. [4] [5] Ever since then, the family cemetery plot became barren. [6] Samantha Stantz bought the farm and founded the Stantz Dairy Farm. She managed to automate the dairy and occasionally hired temporary farm hands. [7]

The dairy farm played host to the Ghostbusters and Slimer when they went on a vacation. They encountered the Peterson family, now as angry spirits. Three of the four Ghostbusters converted the dairy's machines into a Mass Containment Field. Sam managed to appeal to the Peterson family and convinced them to disperse peacefully. After the ordeal, the dairy needed to be repaired since the Peterson's ruined it and Slimer drove a tractor through it.

Trivia[]

  • On page 4 of Ghostbusters Crossing Over Issue #2, in panel 2, a carton of milk makes a non-canon reference to the Stantz Dairy Farm in bottom of the drink case and is misspelled like on the sign in "Dairy Farm".
