The Statue of Liberty is a famous statue located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor given to the U.S.A. by France as a symbol of freedom.

The Real Ghostbusters[]
When the Mean Green Teen Machine surfed into New York Harbor on a wave of slime, they noticed the Statue of Liberty. Off put by her solemn visage, the teens slimed the Statue. It was animated, smiled, and took up a more lively pose. Manx was once launched to the Statue of Liberty after a failed attempt to blow up Slimer backfired on him.
Extreme Ghostbusters[]
In November 1997, S.I.D.N.E.E. was set to make a landing on Manhattan but stopped on Liberty Island first. The Ghostbusters attempted a synchronized assault on it with their Fusion Blast Adapters. The plan failed and the Statue of Liberty was absorbed by S.I.D.N.E.E. temporarily. Once it was trapped, the Statue returned to its rightful place.
