Tokyo is the capital of Japan, the center of the Greater Tokyo Area, and the largest metropolitan area in the world.

History

After the appearance of Nori-ra in Tokyo Bay, the Ghostbusters were flown to Tokyo to deal with the menace all expenses paid. However, it was only the beginning and they fought Kani then Lizardo at the Tokyo Television Tower. Lizardo caused severe property damage as it marched through downtown Japan, including attacking the Bullet Train. Luckily, Zojoji Temple as spared from the onslaught.
