Fraser's Penthouse is the home of the ruthless businessman, Woodrow Wainwright Fraser III.
Woodrow Wainwright Fraser III resides in a penthouse in a complex built by the Fred F. French & Co. in 1927. It was built right on slums known as Goat Hill. The intention was to create a "human, residential enclave" and an "urban utopia."
When Fraser was 22 years old, the spirits of Christmas first visited him, as part of their function to seek out the greedy on Christmas and convince them of the error of their ways. However, the Ghost of Christmas Present was entranced by Fraser's hedonistic lifestyle and possessed him. Since then, the other two ghosts would visit Fraser every Christmas Eve to try in vain to convince their comrade to return to his duty.
Eventually, Fraser hired the Ghostbusters to capture the two. On one Christmas Eve, Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Egon Spengler arrived at the penthouse and heard Fraser's request. They accepted when he offered them a total of $4 million. They returned at midnight with their equipment and Winston Zeddemore. Over the course of the bust, Peter realized the truth and wrangled the Ghost of Christmas Present from Fraser's body back at the penthouse.
