Hasbro Pulse Con 2021

The Hasbro Pulse Con took place on Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23. It was livestreamed exclusively on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube Channel.

The Ghostbusters segment took place on October 22 at 12 to 12:30 pm Eastern. An exclusive clip of Ghostbusters: Afterlife was be shown.

Jason Reitman answered a red phone then chuckled at started talking to viewers talking about a project with HasLab then introduced the exclusive clip. He walked off but the camera was "left one" and employees wheel in something with a tease of an October 27 announcement for a full-size replica Proton Pack from HasLab. Hasbro worker Pam has an "Ecto Excellent Adventure" trying to deliver a clip of the next segment elsewhere in Hasbro headquarters. Mckenna Grace and Logan Kim got to look at and play around with Plasma Series figures, including a look at the still unreleased Phoebe figure, the Mini-Pufts, and the Spengler's Neutrona Wand.

Hasbro Pulse later posted the movie clip on their Facebook page.

Hasbro Pulse Con 2020

The Hasbro Pulse Con takes place on Friday, September 25 at 11 am EST and Saturday, September 26 at 10 am EST, with each day ending around 5 pm EST. Coverage will be available exclusively on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube Channel for free on a livestream.

A Ghostbusters panel will be held on September 26 starting at 1:50 pm EST and is divided into three parts:

  • Part 1: Classic Ghostbusters
    • Panelists: Ernie Hudson, Hasbro Ghostbusters Brand Team
    • Description: We'll begin by celebrating the iconic 1984 film. Tune in for ghostly surprises, classic toy news, and a visit from a very special guest: Ernie Hudson, otherwise known as Winston Zeddemore from Ghostbusters! Get ready to hear him answer your fan questions!
  • Part 2: The Making of Kenner The Real Ghostbusters Toys
    • Panelists: Mark Boudreax, Hasbro Ghostbusters Brand Team
    • Descriptions: We'll continue our journey through the 80’s with an inside look at the making of The Real Ghostbusters toys from original Kenner toy designer, Mark Boudreaux. Next, you’ll see behind the scenes of sculpting with Dave. Finally, meet the Hasbro team that relaunched the Kenner Real Ghostbusters toys in 2020. Hear about how they answered the call to bring this beloved toy line back for the fans and be the first to see the next Kenner Real Ghostbusters toy to hit shelves!
  • Part 3: Ghostbusters Afterlife
    • Panelists: Jason Reitman, Hasbro Ghostbusters Brand Team
    • We'll end our celebration with a nod to the future… the new Ghostbusters Afterlife feature film, coming to theatres in March 2021. Academy Award-nominated, Golden Globe-winning filmmaker Jason Reitman, director of Ghostbusters Afterlife, will take you on a tour of the Ecto-1 that was used in the new film. He’ll end his tour with an exciting reveal! You’ll then hear from the Hasbro team about the next toy inspired by the Ghostbusters Afterlife film to hit shelves!

Both days of the virtual convention will be uploaded to the Hasbro Pulse YouTube Channel on Monday September 28.

San Diego Comic Con 2020

This year's San Diego Comic Con (July 23-26) has gone virtual and still will feature some exclusive products and bundles and announcements, including the announcement of Tully's Terrible Night from Hasbro set for a September 2020 release, a Mondo Ghostbusters (1984) print, a bundle of Ghostbusters: The Inside Story with an exclusive art print, a Ghostbusters No Ghost Logo Enamel Pin (Gold Edition), and a limited edition Mini Epics Slimer figure from Weta Workshop.

This years Toy Fair New York (Went from February 17-20) featured introductions of the Diamond Select's "The Real Ghostbusters" 7 inch figures along with McFarlane Toys' 7 inch Scale Stranger Things Ghostbusters (four) figures Boxset, The Loyal Subjects' Ghostbusters Action Vinyls, and Mezco toyz's One:12 Collective Ghostbusters Figures. Coming July 9 through the 12th, at this years San Diego Comic-Con. This year the top dogs appear to be Diamond Select with their new series on 7 inch action figures. Funko this year introduces their Vinyl Idolz (three exclusive variants can be buy at this event). Cryptozoic Entertainment, a newcomer to the event are promoting their Board Game and trading cards. Titan Entertainment present "Ghostbusters Who Ya Gonna Call? Collection" line that is coming out later this year. IDW will have a exclusive cover for "Ghostbusters Get Real Issue 1. Underground Toys has some nice small items including the four Ghostbusters in plush form. Matty also has a exclusive "Courtroom Battle Egon Spengler" figure to get at the event.
