Suggestion: Merge animated character pages with their main counterparts?[]

It seems strange to me to have separate articles for a character and the animated version of the same character. (E.g., Egon Spengler and Egon Spengler Animated) If it were up to me I would put the animation-specific information about a character in a section of the main article.

Another alternative, if a separate article is determined to be necessary, would be a sub-article (e.g., Egon Spengler/Animated). (For examples of how sub-pages can be used, check out StrategyWiki.org], which uses them extensively.) Kenshiroh 06:35, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Well I was the one seperated it and the reason is a possible recannon that and that some comic series and the video game are ignoring the animated version subjects matters. As I post Animated Bible for the Real Ghostbusters set explaining issues within the cartoon then it will be more apperent that characters in the movies differ from animated counter parts. While the first film is followed by the cartoon series, the second movie was not completely put into the animated world. Inconsistances have followed, and like winston in the cartoon is a the one of the boys unlike the movies that paint him as a hired gun. Janine's role is quite different as well. Slimer in ghostbusters II is not a pet of the ghostbusters unlike the cartoon. Trust me, its better to seperate this than to make a very long page on each. (I'll be back in 2 weeks then I'll be adding the text spoken of-I'm on vacation away from internet) Devilmanozzy 03:30, 30 December 2008 (UTC)devilmanozzy
