The Real Ghostbusters starring in Ghostbusters II comic arc... canon issuesEdit

Canon issues are bound to happen with this arc. What is known is it isn't pure canon. I have issues addressing the following character articles:

Ultimately, it may come down to noting what materials are being moved and expanded on in the animated universe articles. I feel a simple list of the items being listed on the normal version article in the Real Ghostbusters section. Suggested text to add/arrange them as:

The following is part of the animated canon universe for this character:

Primary Canon

Secondary Canon

To read more about the Animated counterpart character, please check out "Egon Spengler "Animated".

These lists vary based on the character, but there is a basic idea. Any thoughts?  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  22:05, April 7, 2014 (UTC)

Correct. From what's been hinted at in The Real Ghostbusters, the NOW adaptation is not canon to the Animated Primary Canon. For the Secondary Canon, there's also the back up story in IDW Comics Volume 2 #1-4 "In The Box" about the ghost placed in the Containment Unit ingested by the Boogieman. Naturally I caught a error while reading. "Slimer!" clearly isn't canon either. Yeah the "IDW Comics "The Real Ghostbusters" back up story (four part series)" added.
I don't think it's an error. I've considered "Slimer!" part of the primary canon. It's simply from his POV some aspects of the stories aren't was really happening if we saw it from the RGB POV, i.e. take "The Slob" or "Not Now Slimer!" as Slimer! stories filtered through the RGB. Okay, Okay, moved back. Well then we're ready to go with this then.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  09:27, April 9, 2014 (UTC)
