Gil Hamstrung  is an actor who tried to help the Ghostbusters.
Gil Hamstrung who has the uncanny ability to do anything if he put his mind to it. He went into the acting business. Gil was the lead villain in the movie "Horror House." However, after the Ghostbusters captured a bunch of real ghosts, Gil was fired along with the director, Feeny Muscleberg. A month later, they met up with the Ghostbusters at the film premiere and apprised them. When Artie Grendel, the producer, whisked the guys away, they suspected the worst.
The duo got a helicopter and flew to MJN Studios to save the day. However, none them knew how to pilot one. Gil put his mind to it and managed to fly the helicopter. He and Feeny were later captured by the Ghost Actors and slated to die alongside the Ghostbusters. Luckily, Ray Stantz saved the day by summoning the ghosts of several movie stars to help.
