- On page 20 of Ghostbusters Volume 2 Issue #17, the Hot Rod of the Gods makes a non-canon cameo in the box by the base of the stairs.
- In Ghostbusters International #2, on page 11, on the lower shelf behind Kylie Griffin is a copy of Hot Rods of the Gods next to Galileo and his Studies of Medieval Poltergeist.
