IDW Publishing Comics- Ghostbusters Volume 3 (also known as Ghostbusters- Haunted America) is a trade paperback collection published in November 2012. [2] It includes the five part story by Tristan Jones, "Who Killed Laura Parr?", an introduction by comic book writer Chuck Dixon, and a cover gallery of the B and RI variants.

On April 18th, 2012, Tom Waltz revealed the exclusive eight page short story pitched by Dan Schoening was moved from Volume Two to Volume Three. [3]
On August 17th, 2012, as mused by Erik Burnham, it seems likely the eight page story will be shifted to Volume Four with the solicitation information for Volume Three released. [4]
On October 24th, 2012, Dan Schoening posted a preview of Volume Three's back cover. It is an homage to the painting seen at the end of Ghostbusters II after Vigo is defeated. [5]

- This is the first original cover in the collections of the ongoing series.
- In the upper left corner of the cover are Shelly and the guitar of Dante Barnes from Issue #12.
- In the upper right corner of the cover are the Roswell Army Ghosts, Space Saucer from page one of Issue #11, Special Agent Jim Savage, and Special Agent Melanie Ortiz
- In the middle of the cover is Ecto-2 with Egon Spengler, Ray Stantz and Winston Zeddemore. Crashing out of the logo is Ecto-1a with Peter Venkman blasting at the Phantom Truck Driver and his Phantom Big Rig in reference to the "Who Killed Laura Parr?" back up story arc.
- In the lower left corner of the cover are some of the Fort Wayne Army from Issue #9.
- In the lower right corner of the cover are Voodoo Zombies from Issue #10.
