King Todd's Treasure [1] is the famed treasure of King Todd. It is believed to contain cursed jewels. [2]
History[]
In the 1940s, King Todd's Treasure was on loan to a museum in New York City for their exhibit on the king. [3] A thief named Blackie didn't believe in the curse and stole the treasure. [4] After hiding it in the sewers of lower Manhattan, Blackie was overcome by the treasure's curse and turned into a guardian entity. [5] Decades later, in the 1980s, the Ghostbusters took the treasure and returned it to Todd's sarcophagus in the museum's basement. As a result, the curse was lifted and Blackie changed back to normal. [6]
