Marduk [1] is a god who fought and defeated Tiamat.
History[]
There are a few conflicting legends about Tiamat. In some, she is the embodiment of chaos rather than a deity. This version was killed by the god Marduk. Marduk built the world from her corpse. Ray Stantz noted Marduk and Tiamat's battle while informing Peter Venkman as they investigated an incident on Columbus Circle.
